Wortham Center - TX Information and Schedule

Wortham Center Theater was built during a major Houston recession in the late 1980's. Its construction was made possible by generous donations from the Wortham Foundation, as well as from 3,500 other individuals. They ultimately raised $66 million managed to build the center 4 months ahead of schedule, and $5 million under budget. The end result was a incredible venue with massive seating, yet with seats that are never farther than 138 feet from the stag, although you still wouldn't want to get stuck behind the lady with the big hat.
