The Continental Club originated in Austin in 1957 as a music hall centered around small gigs for top acts. They featured many great performers over the years, such as: Glenn Miller, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Kinky Friedman. The club saw several transformations in it's time, but in 87 new owner Steve Wertheimer decided to bring it back to it's 50s origins, and that is what arrived to Houston in 2000.
The Houston venue offers the same style and atmosphere as it's Austin counterpart, with red velvet stage, and fun down-to-earth events and get-togethers. Be sure to check out their shows through MyTicketIn!
