Darrell Decker from Utah said...
I loved the 3 previous productions of Les Mis that I have had the privilege of attending in the past. If you have been to any past production and fell in love with any of them, don't waste your time and treasure on this one. The music is too loud, the music has been quite ruined, the vocals are less melodic, and it seems obvious that the director and the actors think they are the stars, not the brillant original lyrics, orchestration, and story. I mean, what was the rush to get through? I should have stayed home and watched The Biggest Loser instead of watching this version of The Biggest Loser. Very, very disappointing. On the plus side, the lesser characters, Eponine, Marius, etc. overshadow the main characters of Val Jean and Javiar in there vocal abilities. The main two were just too weak.
Bottom line: Darrell Decker would NOT recommend this event to their best friend
