The Houston Rodeo is a Texas gem, celebrating our western heritage and the rodeo’s own unique history. As the largest rodeo in the world, the Livestock Show and Rodeo entertains over a million people during its several-week long season.

At the Houston Rodeo, there truly is something for everyone. Kids can enjoy the petting zoo and pony rides while learning about western culture through interactive activities. Teenagers have the opportunity to show their own livestock and win numerous scholarships, and the carnival provides the opportunity to win prizes and have fun with friends. Craft shows, boutiques, and art shows are always popular with the ladies. Men gravitate toward the car show and the rodeo itself with bull riding, calf roping and other exciting events. For older folks, there are square dancing competitions and horse shows. And of course mouth-watering food is available all day long at Reliant Stadium, where the concerts at the end of the day are a draw for everyone.
